Q3 Meeting Recap

We held our 3rd quarter general meeting on Sunday, August 21st at 3pm the Reflection Bay Event Center.  Highlights included:

• Treasurer’s report – State and Federal returns filed as 501(c)3 organization.  Approximately $1800 in cash available; about $200 will be spent to replace and install new watch signage at all major entrances to SCR.
• 2016 Initiatives have progressed well – our website and Twitter feeds are active, and we are making progress in organizing block captains.
• We recapped the events from our Q2 meeting briefly to catch everyone up.
• Promoted National Night Out (see separate post)
• Discussed potential First Aid training for the community (see separate post)
• Discussed planned Reality Based Self Defense classes, taught by Master Ben Mitchell, for the community (see separate post).

The meeting adjourned at approximately 4:30pm
