The next class for SCR Self Defense starts Tuesday 11/15 at 7pm at the Emerald Bay Clubhouse. See details below.
Next Self Defense Class Starts Tuesday!
The next SCR Self Defense Class begins Tuesday October 25th at the Emerald Bay Clubhouse at 7pm. Master Ben Mitchell has been busy training the first class, who have learned the basics of real-life scenario self defense and gained greater confidence in themselves. Join Master Ben for the next beginner course on Tuesday.
Schedule Change: Self Defense Class
Please note that this week’s class has moved from Tuesday October 4 to Thursday October 6 due to conflicts with National Night Out. The class will be at the same location and time, just on Thursday instead of Tuesday.
Remaining classes after this week will occur on their regularly scheduled Tuesday evenings.
Self-Defense Classes In Progress!
Shadow Creek Ranch Self-Defense classes kicked off this past Tuesday at the Emerald Bay Clubhouse. Master Ben Mitchell had a great group of students for the 1st session. If you weren’t able to attend the 1st session, that’s ok – you can still come to the next training session Tuesday night from 7-8pm. There’s room available, and all ages are welcome.
National Night Out – Plans/Volunteers Needed
Shadow Creek Ranch will celebrate National Night Out (NNO) with the rest of Texas on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.
Join your neighbors and get to know one another better. Pearland PD will be on-site to meet our residents and discuss safety and crime prevention with kids and adults alike. There will be food and fun, and maybe even a few prizes and/or goodies.
This year, the Neighborhood Watch group, along with the support of SCRMA, is hosting NNO parties in each Village. Not every neighborhood has held an NNO event in the past, so we wanted to make sure there was an event in your Village for you to attend.
However, we can’t do this alone! We need your help. Please volunteer a little of your time to help us plan and host this event. First Service Residential will be helping us in some respects, but it’s to us to make these Village parties a success. Please email me at president@scrwatch.org if you can volunteer an hour or two of your time.
You can find more information on each event, as well as RSVP to your Village party, here: http://www.scrwatch.org/events/2016-10-04/
