Be wise, don’t advertise (your purchases)!  Breakdown boxes from recent purchases before putting out for trash pickup so thieves don’t have a shopping list of what you have in your home.  Use recycle bins when possible to fully hide boxes (broken down) for high value items such as televisions and audio equipment.
